Disclosure

We believe directors in financial difficulty deserve to know exactly who they’re dealing with and how we work. This page explains who Restructure Partners is, what we do and don’t do, and how our relationships and referrals operate.

Who we are

Restructure Partners is an Australian information and referral service for company directors facing financial distress.

Restructure Partners is a business of Lead Generation Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 691 399 756) trading as Restructure Partners.

What we do — and what we don’t

Restructure Partners provides general information to help Australian company directors understand their options when facing financial pressure — director penalty notices, ATO debt, small business restructuring, voluntary administration and liquidation — and passes enquiries to our partner firm, H&H Tax and Business Advisors. H&H are pre-insolvency accountants — not ASIC-registered insolvency practitioners — and their advisers can involve an ASIC-registered practitioner where a formal appointment is needed.

Restructure Partners does not itself carry out formal insolvency appointments. Small Business Restructuring, Voluntary Administration and Liquidation can only be administered by registered practitioners, and those appointments are performed by ASIC-registered practitioners — not by Restructure Partners and not by H&H. Nothing on this website is personal legal, financial, or taxation advice, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome.

Our expert

Content on this site is reviewed for accuracy by Alex Hanley, a Chartered Accountant. See Alex’s profile.

A commercial relationship, disclosed: Alex is a director of H&H Tax and Business Advisors — the same partner firm that enquiries from this site go to. His review of our content is a check on factual accuracy; it is not an independent third-party endorsement, and we disclose this relationship alongside his byline on every reviewed page.

Our relationship with H&H Tax and Business Advisors

Restructure Partners works closely with H&H Tax and Business Advisors (H&H Tax & Business Advisors Pty Ltd, ABN 19 699 204 423). H&H advisers may point clients dealing with mounting debt, ATO arrears, cash-flow pressure or director penalty notices to the guides on this site to help them understand their options.

Enquiries made through this website — by phone or the enquiry form — go directly to H&H Tax and Business Advisors. Restructure Partners does not itself triage enquiries and does not maintain a panel of registered practitioners.

How Restructure Partners is paid

Restructure Partners is a commercial business. When a referral is successful — that is, when a director we refer engages our partner firm, H&H Tax and Business Advisors — Restructure Partners receives a referral fee from H&H. The fee varies depending on the type of engagement. H&H charges its own fees for any engagement you enter into with it. This means we have a commercial interest in referrals proceeding, which is why we disclose it here.

Restructure Partners does not receive referral fees, commissions, or any other benefit from ASIC-registered insolvency practitioners. Referral fees are only received from our partner firm, H&H Tax and Business Advisors.

We disclose this so you can weigh our role for what it is. The information on this website is general and published for everyone, whether or not you ever contact us, and formal insolvency appointments are only ever carried out by ASIC-registered practitioners who are independently responsible to you and to the law for the work they take on.

Registered practitioners

Scales of justice representing the Corporations Act framework governing Australian insolvency

Where a formal appointment is required, H&H will involve an ASIC-registered practitioner. That practitioner is registered with ASIC and is independently responsible for any formal appointment they accept. Restructure Partners does not select the practitioner and does not maintain a panel of practitioners.

Your privacy

When you contact us, we collect only the information needed to help you. Your enquiry goes to H&H Tax and Business Advisors, and your details may be shared further with an ASIC-registered practitioner where a formal appointment is needed. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
